Found out I had this much left of the Hot Air Balloon fabric, so put it to good use. Cut them up into 7" x 8" square and put a 2" solid white sashing. Made 12 such blocks.
2" solid white went all around as first border as well. Then finished up with 6" green & blue striped fabric from IKEA.
Printed green fabric was used as its backing and for binding, I went for blue & white polkadots. Perfect combo I thought!
Looks good for a boy!
