It was a lovely animal safari fabric my niece bought for me on her trip to US sometime ago. It was only a fat quarter.
So I cut them up into a 8"x9" blocks, made 6 such blocks and went with a 1.5" solid brown frame.
Next, came a lite brown-cream print as sashing, then back to the same 2" solid brown as 1st border and finished with a 5" colourful print fabric which I thought went beautifully together!
Backing fabric was a leftover brown-print-on-white-background fabric I had in my stash and binding was the same solid brown.
Beautiful! Lovely for a boy.
