At the Pet Store

Remember this 'Pet Store' fabric? I've made a quilt with this many moons ago. This is the left over fabric and I thought I would attempt the "attic window" pattern. been wanting to try this out for a long time . . . . Decided outright I wanted very BRIGHT colors - like purple, green & yellow.

The fabric was cut 6" X 7" and thank God, was enough for only 12 blocks - went for purple & green for the attic window. Next was a very thin 1" bright yellow just for fun! Wanted to stay within the purple family, so the 2nd border was a 3" lite purple and ended with a 5" darker purple with teeny-tiny white flowers.

Backing fabric was white background with small purple & blue flowers and binding was the same as the 5" dark purple fabric.

Taa-Dahh! Am so liking the Attic Window effect here!
