Nursery Rhymes

I was delighted to find this panel of nursery rhymes! It had Little Boy Blue, Old Mother Goose, Jack & Jill, etc.

So I cut up 3 pink ones & 3 blue ones. Put a pink-ish sash for the pink blocks and a dark blue sash for the blue blocks. For the second frame, decided on a cream tone on tone fabric. Made little corners too.

Couldn't decide what colour is to go next . . . . settled on 2.5" white as all-around first border. Found a nice pink-mauve for the second border, and braved myself with a bright blue as its finale!

Beautiful cream fabric for its backing and a plain dark pink-mauve for binding.

Am so glad it turned out well in the end and the colours worked together! Pretty.
