Owl Tree

 Who could resist this absolutely-must-buy sweet owl panel?

Not me!

I simply added a 5" pale lite green finishing border to it and voila! Its done.

 Backing fabric was just gorgeous - LOL! - and binding fabric was a solid pink that just matches.

Forest Friends

 A simple panel depicting some furry forest friends working together. Got it from Cottage Patch, Ampang.

 I added a 2" solid green as 1st border and finished it off with a 6" blue dots fabric. Quilted the center squares and we're done!

 Backing fabric was some left over soft green polkadots and binding fabric was the same solid green used earlier.

Done. 

Good for a boy. Or a girl.

Sunbonnet Baby - Pink

 A simple 'Sunbonnet baby' panel fabric which I bought from Karysma in Bangi. They had one in pink and the other in blue - I bought both!

 Simply added a 5" pink polkadot with tiny weeny dots as the border and quilted the center.

 I found a nice baby pink with blue bees fabric in my stash and used it as both backing & binding.

Sweet! I think I'll make some baby pillows to go with it too.

Under The Sea

 A lovely Under The Sea panel I bought online from D'Amani Cotton Theraphy.

 It was slim and long. So I added a 2.5" solid blue as first border, then a 1.5" solid yellow as second border and finally a 5.5" orange + yellow polkadots as finishing border.

 Love the backing fabric - a yummylicious coloured dots on lite cream. Binding was the same solid blue.

Bright & Lovely for any boy's room!

N's order!

 N gave me this lovely cat fabric and asked me to sew a quilt for her daughter.

 The fabric was already colourful so I toned it down by adding a 2.5" lite yellow solid as sashing.

 The same fabric was used as 1st border all around. Then I used 3 solid colours at 5.5"  - mustard yellow, lime green & blue - as finishing border, to bring out its lovely cat colours.

 Backing fabric was a big red & white polkadots and went back to the same lite yellow solid as binding.

So very sorry it took me FOREVER N, 

but its ready now and I hope you like it :-)

Baby Boo

 Yet another lovely panel. Bought this one from Karysma in Bangi.

 Added a 5.5" lilac coloured tiny polkadot as final border and quilted the center squares.

 Decided to make the backing fabric the same as the final border and the binding fabric is a marbled deep purple.

Its MIKE & LULU again - The beary-happy couple! Its a lovely and easy panel to work with - simply quilted the center piece.  

 I added a 5" chocolate-brown polkadots as the final border to make it bigger . . .

. . . and added a pillow too. From the same fabric as the backing fabric.

Backing fabric and binding is the same latte coloured tiny dots.

Lovely and ready to go to its owner!

Pot Holder Gifts

Bought these lovely fabrics (fat quarters) from Bernina with the intention of making them into pot holders to give away to some relatives.

Followed an easy inside-turn tutorial on you-tube. Didn't calculate, so they turned out in different sizes - LOL!

Different backings too.

All ready and in time to distribute during Hari Raya!

Nighty Night Time

Had this panel in my stash some time ago (yes! I'm going thru my stash and spring cleaning!) and thought I better have a go at it.

It was quite narrow and long, so I first added a 2.5" solid cream. Then a 2" printed moss green fabric all around. Lastly, a 6" striped fabric which I hope complimented the center piece.

Backing was lovely - a latte coloured tiny polkadot fabric and for binding I returned to the moss green.

Hmmmm . . . . Not too bad. What do you think?

ABC Quilt

Bought this lovely ABC fabric from Bernina and knew exactly what to do with it!

I quilted the alphabet squares and added a bright 2.5" solid yellow canary and finished it off with a 6.5" colourful striped fabric.

Backing fabric was a bright blue tiny polkadot and binding fabric was a matching solid blue I had in my stash.

Nice & Bright & Long!

Snail Trail - I

A lovely panel I found in Bernina. Bought 2 of 'em. It was hot selling!

Again, I simply added a 2.5" solid pink and  6" colourful rick-rack fabric (also bought from Bernina). DONE!

Backing was a matching pink polkadots I had in my stash and binding was the same solid pink.

Simple & Pretty for any little girl. Longish too.

Underwater World

Bought the fabric a while ago from Cottage Patch in Ampang. Couldn't resist it really! Too pretty to cut up so I left it as the center piece and quilted all the fish on it.

Simply added a 2.5" strip of tiny white polkadots on black background and used 3 colour strips of 1.5" bold red, lime green & mustard yellow as finishing border.

Backing fabric was a multicoloured dots and went back to the white/black polkadots for binding.

Bright & Gorgeous! Dont'cha think?
