Pastel Friends - II

Have done this one before. Requested again by a client.

Added a lighter fabric print as 5' finishing border.

Simply quilted the animals in center piece.

Pink tiny polkadots fabric as backing and a solid pink as binding.

Had the baby's name embroidered too!

A lovely gift indeed :-)

A Bug's Life

Came across this lovely Bug panel @ BERNINA's and immediately bought it!

So colouful & fun looking.

Cut the blocks up, added a 1" white sashing, and then a 2.5" solid lime 

green border and finished off with a print purple fun fabric.

Looking bright & cheerful.

Purple polkadot as backing fabric and returned to the same 

solid lime green for binding.

A matching pillow to boot - lovely!

Blue Square Cars

Had some left over fabric of the blue cars and decided to use 'em all.

Cut 'em up into 5" squares and combined 'em with 

other scraps & left over stash in different shades of blues.

Simple, yet lovely.

Turqoise polkadot as backing fabric and a lighter shade of blue for binding.

Nice! Just loved how it turned out.

Bundle of Joy

An absolutely LOVELY panel!

Because it is narrow and long, I decided to simply add a 3" solid blue and finished off with a 5.5" colourful stripes fabric for the border.

Looking longish . . . and good!

My usual love for polkadots - blue for its backing and solid blue for binding.

Good to go!

Pink Butterfly

A simple panel. Pink. With some butterflies.

Found some wavy lines in pink and thought why not? 

5" all around. Didn't think much. Went with the flow. As always.

Turned out nice!

Lighter shade of pink polkadots as backing fabric and solid pink as binding.

Initially made it with the customary matching pillow. 

Then, the client asked to add 2x bolster.

Lovely, really.

Could not have resisted this lovely panel. Could you?

I've done it before, a couple of years back.

Added a 5" perfect-match printed fabric in that same tiffany-blue 

kinda colour and quilted the center piece all over.

Love this panel! Have done this before some time back and have been looking for it since. Finally found it :-)

Added a 5" left over green print leaves I had as its border and 

quilted the center piece.

Instead of going for pink backing, opted for a green tiny polkadot. For its binding, went for pale solid pink.

Lemon Squeasy

Cut up some 5" squares from my stash and was leaning 

towards fresh, lemony colours.

With splashes of green here and there. 1" solid white

 KONA sashings in between.

Looking fresh and lovely here!
