Again - a lovely simple panel. Simply quilted the center piece.

Added a 5" purplish-pink printed fabric and it's done! 

Backing fabric was a printed pink with bubbles and binding was a solid pink.

Even had enough left over for a matching pillow :-)

I've always wanted to try this pattern . . . .

Used only my polkadots & dotted fabric scraps . . . . 

and solid white, cream and pale pink.

Decided to add a solid white border all around and made it fun by adding strips and strips  . . . .

of more dotted fabrics as its colourful border :-)

Popcorn Bear

A lovely panel I came across - couldn't resist it!

 

Added a complimentary striped fabric that went perfectly together

quilted the center piece.

Had enough of the striped fabric to make a matching pillow too!

Lovely gingham green as backing and a yellowish-mustard as binding fabric.

Yet another animal panel - in soft pastel colours this time.

Added a beautiful 5" pastel spring print fabric and quilted everywhere :-)

Construction Zone

A lovely boy-panel called "Construction Zone".

I simply added a 5.5" bright red dots fabric and quilted the center piece.

Perfect backing fabric - red dots on grey; and went with tiny polkadot on turquoise as binding :-)

Had enough of the red fabric to make a small baby pillow to boot.

I like it!

Dragons & Castles

An absolutely irresistable panel - it's called 'Dragons of Yore'. 

I just LOVE the vibrant colours!

I added a 3" solid blue kona + a 5" accommodating colourful spirals on green fabric as its finishing border = wonderful combo!

Backing fabric was a quieter greenish-blue polkadots and binding 

was the same solid blue.

Gorgeous colours! Really.

Had some left over of that green spirals - enough to 

make a matching pillow :-)

Giraffes!

A couldn't-resist-lovely panel I bought online. 

Simply quilted center piece . . . . 

and added a 5" yellowish-orange polkadot border . . . . 

and it's DONE!

Lite yellow gingham as backing fabric and solid lilac as binding.

Cities Around the world - II

I've done this before - back by popular demand! A lovely panel with cities around the world. 

I cut out the blocks and laid them 3 by 4, added 2" solid kona white sashings and finished up with the lovely IKEA striped fabric.

A lovely yellow gingham fabric as backing and solid blue as binding.

Had just enough left over IKEA striped fabric to make into a bolster :-)

Baby Animals in Pink

Simple panel - whipped up and done in a day! Quilted the center piece and added a border.

Added a 6" pink stars print fabric as finishing border. That's it. Done.

Backing fabric was a pink print squares fabric and binding was a 

solid bright pink.

123 Quilt

A lovely Numbers panel I came across from Bernina @ Damansara. There were only 8 blocks, so I added one more :-)

In the empty block, I hand-stitched "Let's Count! 123". Just because.

The border was perfect! A 5" striped fabric that matched oh-so-nicely!

Backing fabric was a blue print with small bumble bees and binding was 

a solid kona red.

Not too bad indeed :-)
