Jungle Safari

A lovely Jungle Safari panel i bought online recently!

Simply quilted the animals and added a border with plain 

square blocks at each corner.

Backing fabric was a lite green polkadot and binding was a solid moss green.

Roses

I did a 9-patch disappearing pattern with these lovely leftover roses fabrics I had since forever.

 Arranged it this-way-that-way and decided against a border this time - went straight to the binding this time ;-)

Backing fabric was red polkadots and binding was solid red.

Hmm . . . enjoyed doing it. Turned out well.

Spaceships & Aliens

It was a lovely Spaceships & Aliens panel which I cut up and added bits and pieces to so that they are all same sized blocks.
My usual 3 across and 4 down.

I added a 2" kona solid blue fabric to frame each block and a 1.5" red star print fabric as sashing in between and a 5.5" of the same as final border.

Backing fabric was a midnite blue print and binding was the same 

kona solid blue.

Looking good here! Very boy-ish indeed :-)

Zoo Animals

The fabric was like this - with cute animal prints on them.

I simply quilted the center piece and added a 5" green polkadot 

fabric all around.

Backing fabric was a green square print and binding was a 

yellow mustard solid.

I call it my "Quillow Set" (Quilt + Pillow).

Nice & Simple!

Transport Quilt - II

I had 2 panels of this - made the first one sometime ago and decided to work on this one. 

Just like the 1st one, I added a 2" solid blue as sashing and all around.

Then I had this gorgeous multi-coloured stripes (i so LOVE stripes & dots!) and cut a 5" strip and made it the finishing border.

Backing fabric was a baby blue gingham and binding was the same solid blue.

Had enough to throw in a matching pillow too :-)

Nursery Rhymes

It was a simple panel of 15 squares of nursery rhymes. I decided to use only 12 - 3 across and 4 down. Firstly, I added a 2" soldier green solid as sashing.

Next was a 1" lite yellow gingham fabric, followed by a 6" brown polkadot on green fabric as final border.

Hmmmm . . . . . , 

This yellow print I happened to have, which I thought was great for the backing and binding was back to the soldier green.

Lil' Blue Cars

Cut these into 5" squares . . . . .

and made them into these!

Added a 2" solid blue as first border and finished it off with 5" complimenting blue polkadots.

Did a simple disappearing 9-patch pattern - happy with how it turned out :-)

Blue lines as backing fabric and back to the same solid blue as binding.

Candy Heart Squares

Was looking through my stash and found these lovely small coloured hearts in purple & white! So I decided to do a bit of mix n match.

Used only 2 colours - solid pink & solid yellow. Cut them all up into 4" squares and put them together in alternate patterns.

Backing fabric was a pale lilac print and binding was a solid lite purple.

Cheerful lil' quilt for a girl!

I Spy Quilt!

I had all these novelty fabrics which I decided to cut up into small 3" squares and put 4x squares together.

The 4 squares together became a 6" square and between them was a 1.5" solid black sashing.

Next, I put a 4" black multi-coloured stripes fabric - it went perfectly together!

Backing fabric was a lovely multi-coloured on black and 

binding fabric was a solid yellow.

Looking good on my tree!
