HOPE, PEACE & LOVE

It was a fabric that I couldn't resist . . . .

Thot of cutting it up into small squares and adding all sorts of patterns etc. Finally decided to leave it as a center piece.

Simply added a 2" lite yellow border and ended it with 1.5" strips after strips of various blues (a good stash busting exercise too!).

Backing fabric was perfect - white with blue prints. For binding, went with dark-navy blue.

So liking it here!

I've always wanted to try this and I'm so glad I did! Played with only 2 colours - red & blue. Need to finish up with some borders tho . . . . thinking of cutting up same reds & blues into stripes. Hmmmm, will upload once done.

Finished this quilt top. Had some left over Hot Air Balloon fabric and teamed it up with the blue & green stripes to bring out the balloons. Nice!

Will baste + quilt it and will upload once done.
