A fun panel of baby playing in bath tub - had to grab it!
Added a perfect blue-polkadot as its final border and we're all done.
Backing fabric was this sweet lite bluish printed fabric and used the same blue polkadot for binding.
Lastly, quilted the center piece. Ready for a baby boy indeed!

Just added a 5.5" lite pink solid border . . . . 
. . . . and its done!
Backing fabric wasn't perfect, but was ok I thought - a very lite pink background with pink+red little stars. Binding was a perfect shade of tiny pink polkadot.
Just perfect for that special little girl!
Remember this bear panel? I made one earlier, but ended with a darker shade. Simply quilted the centre piece . . . .
. . . . and added a 5" lighter colour fabric (cream) as finishing border with a dark brown floral print square at each 4 corners.
Lite brown polkadot as backing fabric was perfect and went for dark solid blue as binding.
Lighter shade of Mike & Lulu! Nice.
Another lovely work - the background paint is a lite lilac-pink and the tin is littered with alphabet bears in decoupage paper.

Its Jemima Puddle Duck - and she's back!
My talented friend A, at work again . . . . after a LONG hiatus. She made some really nice tins in many different colours and characters.
It was a lovely 'Animal Friends' panel I came across and immediately bought. It had 8 animal blocks. Cut them up and used 6 blocks for this quilt. First, was a 3" dark brown polkadot sashing and as 1st border.
Next, was a 3" solid lite yellow. The 3rd border was a narrow 2" dark brown solid and finished it up with a 5" yellow striped - GREAT combo I thought!
Backing fabric was a lite-brown-cream-ish polkadot,and returned to the dark brown polkadots for binding.
Nice & Long.
Makes a lovely gift too!
This was an oh-so-sweet! panel of lil' flutterings in very lite pale pink. I cut them up into 6 individual blocks and added up the fabrics . . . .
First was a 3" solid lite pink, then a 2" floral pink on white fabric and finally a 5" sweet pink checkered.
All very lite and pink and sweet!
Backing fabric was a mix of lite red and yet another shade of pink and binding was the ever faithful & perfect pink polkadots.
Oh the sweetness here!
It was a simple baby panel with animals in pink + brown combo.
Simply added a bright pink polkadot as 5" border . . . . and that's it we're done!
Backing was a soft cream with lite brownish flowers and binding was a solid lite pink.
Done. Simple. Nice.
Different strips of sweet blue fabrics put together lengthwise.
Added a coordinating 3" plain baby blue all around and returned to the strips as a 5" finishing border.
Backing fabric was from IKEA - a darker shade of blue with circle prints all over and binding was the same as the earlier plain blue.
Simple quilting here folks - followed the strips.
