Candy Coloured Hearts

Saw this lovely multi-coloured lil' hearts fabric and immediately knew what i wanted to do with it. You know how some fabrics just 'calls to you' . . . . Well, this one shouted out my name - LOL!

Decided on 'simple is best' - and cut them up into 4.5" squares and teamed them up with 4 different matching bright colours - pink, green, blue & yellow.

I like how it turned out!

Backing fabric is cream with tiny flower buds and binding is a lighter shade of pink.

No finishing border this time. Simple is best, really!

Wiggle Giggle

It was a cheerful panel and I fell in love with it upon sight. Made it into a center piece and simply added borders. Quilted the center piece into various sized blocks.

Added a 2.5" solid lite blue and finished it with a lovely 5" striped fabric which had all the colours of the panel.

Backing fabric I had from a long time ago - a floral printed in lite blue & green on white and binding was a solid butter yellow. Perfect combo!

Really cheerful & happy!

Let's go GREEN!

Remember all those lil' green squares I didn't know what to do with? Well I thot and I thot and I came up with this - greens + whites.

Put a 3" solid kona white cotton in between and all around. Love what I did with the ends!

Green dots as backing fabric and dark green print fabric as binding.

Here she is next to my white flowered hibiscus tree :-)

I quite like the end result. Or is it too white? too green?
