Alphabet Fairies Quilt

Bought this lovely Alphabet Fairies panel from fabricfanatics.com online. Just loved it!

Cut them up and decided on a 3" pale buttercup yellow solid fabric as sashing and finished it up with a 6" lite leaf print green fabric.

Backing fabric was a brighter orangey-yellow+green flower print fabric and went boldly with a bright orange with dragonfly print for binding.

Light & Easy. Sweet really.

N's Order

Finally done with N's order - cut up the blue train fabric into sawtooth star pattern.

Put a lovely 3" lite blue big dots as sashing in between and went with a matching 5" dark blue swirls as finishing border.

Went back to the baby blue bit dots as backing fabric and a dark blue solid as binding. PERFECT!

Just love the way it turned out. So pleased with myself here - LOL!

She also requested for 2 matching baby pillows + 2 baby bolster. Used up all the baby blue big dots fabric. Hope you're happy with this N!

In the Park Quilt

The panel was just like this - a big colourful picture of all those animals in the park. Made it into a center piece and quilted it.

I simply added a 1.5" soft green + 1.5" soft checkered yellow and finished it off with a 6" IKEA big striped fabric - DONE!

All rolled up . . . .

Backing was another blue print IKEA fabric and binding was my ever faithful dark blue marbled fabric.

A cheerful quilt!

Princess Quilt

Its a fabric full of princesses! Found it at cottage patch some months ago. Decided to cut them up into little pieces and patch 'em up. First sashing was a 1.5" pinkish spray fabric.

Next was a 3" lilac small dots and finished it up with a 5.5" small flower printed fabric in yet another shade of pink.

5 different princesses all lined up . . . .

Backing fabric was a big polkadot lite pink (perfect!) and binding was a dark tone-on-tone purple.

A Princess Quilt in pink & purple! Its a L-O-N-G one.

Been BUSY of late . . .

Hey All,

My mum has not been well of late and thus i've been attending to her needs. This has left me with stolen moments to squeeze some sewing in. But duty calls, and i do both out of love - mum & sewing (LOL!). So in between the sending and picking of kids to and from school, running a home-based kindie of 10 kids, spending half the day with mum seeing to her needs & just chilling, the groceries, the house and the GOD-knows-what-else that seems to crop up at the last minute . . . .

. . . . I somehow managed this rather ambitious Green Boxes Quilt top,
