Rose wanted the Sail Boat Quilt for her baby boy. She asked to add some pillows & bolsters. Made matching pillow cases.
Its actually 1x set of baby pillow + 2 baby bolsters AND 1x bigger pillow (for when baby is bigger).

She also asked for another set of pillow & bolster cases. Made them in lite blue polkadots fabric. Hope you like 'em all Rose!
Its a simple panel showing a duck fishing with the saying, "I Wish I Wish I'd catch a Fish". Thot it was kinda cute.
Simply added a 5.5" red hand-spray fabric all around and used a lite blue thread to quilt the center piece.
Amidst all that green in my garden.
Backing fabric was a lovely red & blue polkadots and decided to go with yet another polkadot fabric for binding - yellow this time!

It was a Nursery Rhyme panel I bought from Cottage Patch a few weeks back.
It was easy & quick to do . . . . so it's done.
Simply added a bright yellow fabric as 5" border and quilted the center piece and all around the border.
Binding was blue/white polkadots (I love my dots!) and backing fabric was cream with tiny blue flowers.
Just hangin' lookin' nice.
Remember this? Took forever, but its finally done!
Put them together (all 12 of 'em) and added a 2" multi-coloured dots fabric as first border.
Decided to put these 4 solid colours all around the center piece . . . .
. . . yellow, red, green & blue.
Here it is - the quilt top all done. So what d'ya think people?
Bought the checkered racing car fabric from BERNINA some time ago last year and decided to do something about it only now. I simply cut the fabric up into 6.5" squares and alternated it with a bright red & blue 4-patch block.
Put a 1.5" solid grey as 1st border and returned to the same bright blue fabric as a 5.5" finishing border.
5 blocks across and 7 down. Quilted each block and criss-crossed the 4-patch blocks.
A light blue patterned fabric as backing and a lighter shade of solid grey as binding.
Easy put together & Nice to look at.
Double Hour Glass pattern in blues & greens.
Just 1 more blue block to go.
Lovely Care Bear panel . . . . already thinking of how colourful I'm going to make this :-)
