Suzy Zoo collection
Lovely soothing colour from the Suzy Zoo collection. Good for a baby boy or a girl. Simply added a matching border. BTW, that's my lil' Maya (top most pic) [trying to kiss the giraffe in the quilt. Didn't realize she was in the picture until taken ;-)

Organized Chaos!
Been busy of late! Spent 3 days with the family in Penang and found 2 quilt shops which sells great American cotton fabrics. Happily bought an arm-load. Have collected quite a few materials and simply love buying more ;-) Thought i'd share with u guys out there what my little home-office looks like. Not always this messy tho.

Single-bed Quilt
I don't really do single-bed quilts, but i tried doing my first one for my 10 year old daughter Sara. I did it last year and although it took some time, it didn't take as long as i thought it would. I'll be doing one for my 3 year old Maya. Found some horse panels and bought for them both one each. They both love horses! Haven't started on them yet but soon i hope ;-) God knows when though ......

New Project?
Looked into my collection recently and saw that i had these fabrics from long ago. Need to find some matching sashings & borders and cannot wait to see what i will do next. I must start planning my work so that i don't run out of fabrics .... which is the usual case for me ;-) Once i get my act together and have a pattern in mind, will finish up and show all.

Pink Hearts
Saw that i had a lot of pink scraps. Not a lot, but enough to cut out into hearts. Hand sewn 12 hearts out of 4 different pink material onto white, and put a pale pink border. Have no idea what goes on next .... let's see what happens ....

Beatrix Potter
A friend sold me this Beatrix Potter panel (all 4 pics in a panel) for about RM20. Simply love it! Made it into green hues. The outcome was quite square-ish.

Instruments of Love 2
Same panel, but instead of cream hues, decided to make it pink. Turned out really nice. But somehow, the cream one is soothing and lovely to look at.

Animals in Yellow
Somehow had quite a number of orange and yellow and felt like combining them to make something LOUD. Sew strips and strips of them. It was really bright. So decided to tone it down with white blocks. Then had a friend do some animals in the same colour tone. She used fabric paint and it came out looking like this ..... Not bad. But this one was a lot of work and took a long time to finish.

My first Red Work
I've always wanted to do 'Red Work' but was never confident enough. Then i came across this pattern and it looked easy enough, so i tried it. Drew the heart free-hand (slightly askew, but who is to know!). This one took ages to do. Thought i would never get it done. But here it is.

Florals
I looked at my stash and found some pretty florals. Thought i'd be lazy and just put 'em together. Easy work. Done in good time.
